TE KŌTIU: A NEW IMMERSIVE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

Te Kōtiu is an immersive experience at MOTAT's Aviation Hall in New Zealand, celebrating the country's aviation history. It showcases key moments, from the migration of native Kuaka birds to the diversity within aviation and space industries. Visitors witness historic events and hear inspiring stories from pioneers like George Bolt and Jean Batten, as well as female trailblazers in aviation. An experience that was awarded the Museums + Heritage Best Use of Digital – International Award (2024).

Karanga o Tane Mahuta – VR Experience

Produced by WAXEYE, Karanga a Tane Mahuta is a VR experience delivered in te reo Māori with English options. It connects taitamariki (youth) with their environment through a reconstruction of unique taonga species, flora, and fauna. The aim is to help them better understand the impact of our environmental changes.

Quiver, written and directed by Shayna Connelly, melds horror and passion with Virginia Woolf's idea of a woman requiring a room of her own in which to uncover her true identity.
